The Humantay lagoon is one of the most popular attractions in the city of Cusco and therefore one of the most visited by adventure-loving travelers, it offers beautiful natural landscapes along the route with a quiet walk along easily accessible trails, as well as in the same place you can see a beautiful lagoon with turquoise waters product of the melting of the snowy Humantay that crowns the lagoon and all around contrasts the most wonderful and charming landscape generating a spectacular view.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ITINERARY<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Departure: 05:00 a.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Return: 6:00 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We leave the city of Cusco very early after picking up all the members of the group from their respective hotels, we will travel in a minivan to the town of Mollepata for a time of 2:30 approx. where we will make a stop to enjoy a delicious breakfast and a short break to stretch our legs and admire the leafy valley. Continuing then by unpaved road towards Soraypamapa, throughout the route we will appreciate beautiful landscapes and in the distance the snow-capped peaks of Humantay and Salkantay,<\/p>\n\n\n

majestic guardians of this extensive valley. Arriving at Soraypampa, the whole group will meet at a point where the guide will give a brief explanation and recommendations to start the hike up to the Humantay mountain, the ascent lasts about an hour and a half. Enjoying on the way the scenic beauty of the area, the surrounding snow-capped mountains as well as a great variety of flora and fauna typical of the place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Already at the top of the mountain we will enjoy a well-deserved rest delighting ourselves with one of the most fantastic lake landscapes in Peru \u00abthe Humantay lagoon\u00bb of turquoise waters in front of all the adventurers and at the foot of the snow-capped mountain of the same name. After an extensive explanation of the place, the guide will give the group free time to explore the surroundings of the Lagoon and take pictures, and then begin to descend to Soraypampa, where the mobile will be waiting for the group to return, we will travel for another hour until the Mollepata town to enjoy a refreshing lunch and finally return to the city of Cusco, arriving at approximately 18:00 hrs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
