Taking you off the beaten path with visits to authentic Andean communities while being surrounded by stunning mountains, lakes, and valleys, this fabulous trek..<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">DAY 1: CUSCO \u2013 CALCA \u2013 LARES \u2013 WACAHUASI<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>We leave Cusco early in a private bus, traveling through the Sacred Valley until we reach the hot springs in Lares; we spend the morning in the medicinal waters and, after lunch, we walk for 2 hours to our camp in Wacahuasi (3,700 m.a.s.l).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inkasperumistical.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/1000057114.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-947\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inkasperumistical.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/1000057115.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-948\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">DAY 2: WACAHUASI \u2013 EPSAYCOCHA<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>After breakfast, we observe the local artists\u2019 skill and knowledge in producing fine alpaca wool fabrics, considered some of the best in all of Peru; the weavers create products, rugs, ponchos, and other items. Afterwards, we begin our hike towards the Condor Pass at 4,100 m.a.s.l., from where we have a sensational view of La Ver\u00f3nica, a glacier at an elevation of 5,750 meters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">DAY 3: Patacancha \u2013 Willoc \u2013 Ollantaytambo<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Our descent takes us to Patacancha, an Andean community known for its textiles and weavers; from here we continue to Willoc where we rest and have lunch; from here it takes us 2 hours to reach Purmamarca with its Inca terraces, and finally we arrive at Ollantaytambo. Located in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, next to the Urubamba River, this Inca town is considered one of the best-preserved living museums due to its population. Later, we continue to Aguas Calientes where we will spend the night at a hotel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inkasperumistical.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/1000057116.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-949\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inkasperumistical.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/1000057118.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-950\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">DAY 4: MACHU PICCHU \u2013 CUSCO<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>We leave early, after breakfast, to reach Machu Picchu, and then take the bus for the first time from Aguas Calientes to the Machu Picchu Historical Sanctuary. During a 3-hour private guided tour along the Citadel, visiting all important sites and landmarks. After the tour, you will have time to walk and explore this wonder of the world.
